Photonic Science is a high technology manufacturer of innovative scientific camera and detector systems covering the spectrum from Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) and visible light to X-ray and neutron detection. The camera technology offered is wide ranging, from the latest SWIR / InGaAs, sCMOS, EMCCD, CCD cameras to X-ray and intensified cameras and Laue diffraction systems. We serve customers in scientific, industrial, medical and military domains. Photonic Science imaging systems and cameras are custom designed to meet customer specific environmental requirements.

The Photonic Science 1,000 square metre facility at St Leonards, East Sussex site contains manufacturing, production, clean room, environmental / X-ray testing and research facilities. We deliver cost effective, innovative camera solutions with selected components from concept, prototyping to volume manufacturing for OEMs including complete turnkey solutions involving cameras / illumination source / optics / environmental housing and software.

Photonic Science’s ability to design and build specialist systems and to undertake R&D projects has given the company’s engineering team a wide range of experience in diverse fields and the ability to transfer this knowledge to our customers. The company’s aims are to innovate and stay at the forefront of new technology in order to maintain long term leadership for our customers, developing new products and expanding into new markets.
